With the advent of another "Pokemon" game surfacing, another anime in the franchise is also emerging as well. "Pokemon Sun and Moon" will be having an anime starring the Ash Ketchum and Pikachu with an all new look!

A trailer, running for 29 seconds, was just released showing the new look of Ash and Pikachu. At the end, the trailer revealed that the anime will be released along with "Pokemon Sun and Moon."

Polygon took note that the series' art style is considerably different than its predecessors. Ash, although still retaining a lot from his traditional look, looks slimmer and younger. Pikachu looks, well, like Pikachu still, not that it's a bad thing.

The trailer showcased a whole new cast of characters as well as the new Pokemon from the new generation that will be featured in "Pokemon Sun and Moon."

Anime News Network also took note of the setting of the anime, which seems to take place at a school. The previous shows focused on a journey which Ash and Pikachu took part in, often finding new friends and Pokemon and battling any challengers. This time, the latest anime may be following the young hero in his adventures and mishaps in school, probably with a goal of graduating in mind.

The location where the hero's journey will take place in is Alola, home of the seventh generation of Pokemon. Alola is a nod to the actual Polynesian islands, like Hawaii.

However, for some people, new isn't always good. While some Reddit users have commended the new direction the "Pokemon" anime is taking, most aren't too keen on the changes, especially with regards to Ash's new look. Some did speculate that Nintendo might be pushing for a reboot of the series, which might be apparent in the games' latest previews.

The "Pokemon Sun and Moon" anime will air first in Japan around November; however there hasn't been any news on when it will air worldwide for an English version. The games, on the other hand, are slated for release on Nov. 18.
