The latest "Tekken" title shows off visuals, gameplay and new roster of characters, but who could ever forget that the franchise has had an epic storyline to engage players in? Additionally, there are possibilities that "Tekken 7" will include characters from the previous game like Lei Wulong in the future.

For the longest time in "Tekken" history, a lot of the game's story elements gravitate towards the Mishima clan, even though it does have other characters in the roster. The Mishima clan involved the dominant males in the fighting tournament namely Jin, Kazuya, and Heihachi to duke it out and take the title as head of the clan.

Blog site Flickering Myth has mentioned that the "Tekken 7" will have the Unreal Engine 4 running the game, making it an enhancing experience for players for the numerous modes and gameplay as well as the engaging storyline. New characters in the roster include Kazumi Mishima, Claudio, Josie, Shaheen, Katarina, Lucky Chloe, Gigas, and Akuma from the "Street Fighter" franchise.

Speaking of characters, the return of some classic characters may be still a possibility in the seventh installment of the game. According to Attack of the Fanboy, Bandai Namco teased the possibility of one of "Tekken's" classic character returning, the Hong Kong super cop Lei Wulong.

Although, game producer Katsuhiro Harada answered a fan in the official Twitter page of the company that it may still be possible that Lei Wulong won't be part of main cast since character usage is considerably low. Instead, the character may be a DLC during the sequel's post-launch plans.

Harada also stated that other characters from the previous games like Jun Kazama, Kuma and Roger Jr. will probably not be added to "Tekken 7" roster anytime soon.

"Tekken 7" is slated for launch in early 2017 for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One and the PC.
