Hong Kong-based Chinese-Canadian actress Eliza Sam attended the press conference held by TVB on Tuesday, June 7 for the launch of the 2016 Mr. Hong Kong pageant.
There, she entertained the media's questions and requests, one of which, was to describe her ideal type. The Special Female Force actress willingly answered the question and said that she likes men who are lean.
"I like men with a little more meat," the 31-year old actress said. "But not so extreme where you can see his 6-pack abs."
The media, who mentioned that she seems to have described her boyfriend, jokingly asked if she would encourage her beau Keung, who hails from Canada as well, to join the Mr. Hong Kong pageant.
Eliza laughed and answered, "Maybe! Let me ask him first!" So, does Keung meet the Mr. Hong Kong requirements? She immediately said, "Yes!" But said added she will see if he has time.
As for her thoughts on several judges seeing her boyfriend half-naked, Eliza simply explained, "Not a big deal. It's like watching a show. It's a professional panel. I look forward to the Q&A section the most. The catwalk, dance, and swimsuit shows are all just for physical appearances, but in the Q&A, you get to test their intelligence."
Being a pageant contestant and winner, Eliza appeared at the event to encourage guys from overseas to join the contest.
Aside from Eliza, who won the 2009 Miss Chinese Vancouver and the 2010 Miss Chinese International pageants, other beauty queens and TVB celebrities graced the event, including Grace Chan and Jacqueline Wong.
