After suffering from high fever and leg pain, Ji Soo has finally undergone a surgery for acute osteomyelitis on Tuesday. Initially, the actor went to a hospital to get treatments for his hurting leg; however, the hospital said Ji Soo might have bone cancer which led the actor to seek for another hospital to confirm his condition.

On the same day, Prain TPC president Yeo Jun Yeong released a statement regarding the "Fantastic" actor's condition. Yeo revealed Ji Soo has osteomyelitis or bone infection and had to undergo surgery.

"Ji Soo received surgery for acute osteomyelitis this Sept. 13. The surgery ended well, and he is currently resting in his hospital room. The surgery came up suddenly, so we are only now delivering the news," Allkpop quoted Yeo as saying.

He added, "He is currently recuperating after a successful surgery, but it is likely that we will be able to give more specific details after getting a better explanation from the doctor and after seeing his progress."

Yeo also said he is in talks with the production members of "Fantastic," where Ji Soo currently stars, regarding Ji Soo's current status and his schedule for the filming of the drama.

On the other hand, a production staff of "Fantastic" clarified they will wait until the actor is fitted to go back to work. "We will have to watch over Ji Soo's condition but there will be no actor replacements," Soompi quoted the staff as saying.

The staff went on, "We will gather our wisdom in continuing the drama without being too extreme and will wait until Ji Soo recovers and is able to return to filming. We will inevitably revise the script as time passes, so there is no need for a replacement."

Get well soon, Ji Soo!
