"Glee" alum Jacob Artist joins the cast of "American Horror Story" Season 6 for a top secret role. He has wound up in producer Ryan Murphy's orbit once again.
According to Deadline, Artist is signing on with the returning cast members Lady Gaga, Evan Peters, Denis O'Hare, Kathy Bates, Angela Bassett, Finn Wittrock, Wes Bentley, Matt Bomer, Cheyenne Jackson and Leslie Jordan. His role is as of now unidentified and is one of the several mysteries surrounding the upcoming season.
Artist shared the big news about his casting in "American Horror Story" Season 6 on Instagram on Tuesday, as Entertainment Weekly reported. He added a photo of the script captioned "Day 1." He even made sure to cover up the mysterious subtitle to avoid giving anything away about the new season, making fans excited for his appearance in the show. He is not the first "Glee" alum to be seen in Murphy's FX anthology. Darren Criss checked in as Justin for two episodes of Hotel in 2015, starring one-time guest Matt Bomer as Donovan or Andy.
Artist first teamed up with "American Horror Story" producer Murphy in the musical comedy-drama series "Glee." He played Noah "Puck" Puckerman's little brother Jake Puckerman. The musical series ended its run on the FOX network in March 2015. After "Glee" ended, he booked his recurring role as Brandon Fletcher on ABC's mystery crime-drama "Quantico." His previous TV credits also include "Melissa & Joey" and "How to Rock."
"American Horror Story" Season 6 has been reported that the show's theme is My Roanoke Nightmare. It is based on the colony that went missing back in 1590 in North Carolina. The hit show just started its premiere on Sept. 14, Wednesday, at 10 p.m. ET on FX.
