‘Moonlight Drawn By Clouds’ Park Bo Gum and Kim Yoo Jung: Top’s brand value

It seems like "Moonlight Drawn by Clouds" stars Park Bo Gum and Kim Yoo Jung continues to be in vogue in the industry. Just recently, the two got the first two top rank in the brand value among actors from Aug. 13 to Sept. 14.

The 23-year old actor has been ranked first by the Korea Institute of Corporate Reputation with a recorded 6,998,700 points for participation index, 2,128,320 for media index, and 3,246,008 for communication index, AllKpop cited. Garnering the actor an overall brand value of 12,373,028.

Followed by his co-star Kim, who has a recorded 4,802,600 participation index, a 1,697,472 media index, and a 1,825,480 communication index with an overall brand value of 8,325,552.

The Korea Institute of Corporate Reputation calculates a Hallyu star's brand value through consumer behavior. The analysis creates the brand index by weighing several categories including participation, communication, media, community and social indices.

Meanwhile, it was previously reported that Park promised to conduct a fan signing event in Gwanghwamun while wearing a traditional Korean dress hanbok if their drama reached the 20 percent viewership rating. As expected, the Sept. 12 episode surpassed the benchmark, reaching a 20.4 percent rating.

However, following the achievement of the benchmark, Blossom Entertainment revealed that nothing has been decided yet, as the rating milestone has just been reached, Soompi reported. Adding that due to the hectic schedule of the filming, the promise might be fulfill once the drama wraps up.

"Moonlight Drawn by Clouds" starring Park and Kim is a coming-of-age story set in the 19th century Joseon Dynasty. The drama tells the story of an 19-year old Crown Prince and his unlikely relationship with his 18-year old eunuch.

The drama started airing on Aug. 22 at 10:00 p.m KST every Mondays and Tuesdays on KBS2 and is set to wraps up after eighteen episodes.
