‘Tanu Weds Manu’ actress Kangana Ranaut lashes at stereotypical Indian personality

"Tanu Weds Manu" actress Kangana Ranaut has come off once again as the bold one. Not by her clothes, Ranaut has always believed in making a mark with her words and work. Such quick success for someone who doesn't have any Bollywood Godfather behind her hasn't come easy for her.

"Queen" actress Ranaut has always believed in saying exactly how she feels and she doesn't really regret being honest. Though, she admits that she has reacted many a times very quickly without thinking the side-effects of it but she knows that she is going to correct her mistakes and not make a fool.

In her recent interview with Hindustan Times, Kangana Ranaut made bold statements by lashing at Indian media and people's need for someone with personality that equates to sympathy and stereotype. Ranaut has urged the need to let this go and promoting young and cool talents without worry.

Ranaut even claimed that her colleagues from Bollywood had actually spread wrong stories about her that had lead to negativity towards her. She explained saying that she got trapped by not thinking and, addressing each and every controversy about her.

The "Gangster" actress has come a long way and success has been on her feet. From Filmfare's Best Female Debut to Filmfare's Best Actress, Ranaut has made herself a platform that is bold, honest and fruitful. She has picked up on different roles from a drunkard to a normal stereotype Indian girl and, has rocked them all without fail. The Himachal Pradesh beauty has climbed the ladder so far on her own and has opened hopes for many others.

Recently, Ranaut graced Verve Magazine's cover and revealed on the depth of how much fashion and style she follows. She told the magazine, "Fashion to me is an expression, like art. It's an expression of your individuality, your attitude. When you're trying to be fashionable, don't follow anyone. Develop your own expression."

Ranaut is currently filming Vishal Bhardwaj's 2016 film "Rangoon." Apart from "Rangoon." She will also be seen in "Simran" and in a yet to be titled Rani Laxmi Bai biopic.
