Fans were happy when "Spider-Man" actor James Franco took to Instagram to respond to Miss Universe 2015 Pia Alonzo Wurtzbach's revelation that he is one of her celebrity crushes. The actor even made a combined photo of the two of them.
Apparently, there is nothing seriously romantic going on between Franco and Wurtzbach and it is not very likely that there is a budding romance between the two. The Filipino beauty queen has pointed out several times in her previous interviews that she is currently happy being single because of her busy schedule as Miss Universe 2015 and it would be unfair to her boyfriend if she had one.
It must be noted, however, that what Franco said in the caption is that he loves the Philippines. He did not particularly say that he loves Wurtzbach, who recently watched her fellow Filipino Lea Salonga portraying Kei Kimura in "Allegiance" on Broadway, Broadway World reported.
This inevitably makes those who previously questioned Franco's sexuality believe that he is really gay. This is something he neither admitted nor denied directly and clearly.
Coincidentally, Franco's "I Am Michael" co-star Charlie Carver, who was also known for playing Ethan in "Teen Wolf" from 2013 to 2014, recently took to Instagram to come out as gay. The actor posted several photos with the words, "BE WHO YOU NEEDED WHEN YOU WERE YOUNGER."
In the caption, the "I Am Michael" actor clarified that his twin brother Max Carver, who played played Aiden from 2013 to 2015. Charlie wrote that Max is "just as cool for being straight."
In "I Am Michael," there is a scene that featured Charlie in a threesome with Franco and Zachary Quinto, who recently attended the Smokefall Meet the Press Event at the MTC Rehearsal Studios in New York City, Just Jared reported.
Written and directed by Justin Kelly, "I Am Michael" starred Francso as Michael Glatze, a gay activist who denounced homosexuality and became a Christian pastor. The drama film was shot in August 2014 in New York City.
In real life, Glatze was a former gay rights advocate and is the co-founder of Young Gay America. His father was agnostic and his mother was a non-denominational Christian.
