Walt and Henry will go through bumpy rides in "Longmire" Season 5 after the former finds out about his friend's illegal activities. In the new installment, Walt will figure out he was betrayed by Henry which might put an end to their friendship.
In a recent interview, Lou Diamond Phillips, who takes the role of Henry, teased "Longmire" Season 5 will be tough for Walt and Henry. The actor also added Henry's deceits will not be accepted by Walt, who will try his best to stop his unlawful activities.
"The last we saw, Henry was being carted off to jail by Zahn McClarnon, who plays Mathias. In that scene, you will see what happens - if they cut a deal. Henry will be continuing his dual role as Hector, the sort-of vigilante, justice-bringer for the reservation, which will put him at odds with Walt Longmire, his best friend," the actor revealed.
Aside from that, there have been rumors that the new installment will revolve around the possible romantic relationship of Walt and Vic, and how Henry will try oppose their affair together with Walt's daughter, Cady.
The crime drama series was renewed for another season by Netflix last year. "Longmire" originally broadcasted with A&E for three seasons and was picked up by the streaming company for its fourth season, Variety reported.
"We want human beings to watch this show - if it has heart and soul to it, we need that piece in the Netflix family. We're mercifully with a wonderful company now that values viewers over demos and we're benefiting from that," EP Greer Shephard said.
Meanwhile, IGN suggests Walt and Vic will realize their feelings for each other; hence, the two will become a couple in "Longmire" Season 5. However, it also revealed Vic will be taken away at the end of the season, while Walt will be freed.
In addition, Walt and Henry's encounter is something to look forward to if you haven't binged "Longmire" Season 5. On the other hand, although the new installment just premiered last Friday, rumor has it that "Longmire" will not be renewed for another season after fifth season.
