The "Scarlet Heart Rye" actor Kang Ha Neul unveils the adorable way he got to know his co-star Lee Joon Gi. He also reveals the feeling of working with the drama's lead actress, IU.

In a recent interview, Kang revealed his experiences filming the show with the stars. "Lee is an actor that I have liked since I was young. I was so happy to get to work on a project with him and even wanted to contact him first before we got to meet for the first time," Soompi quoted.

Kang even contacted Lee's agency to get his phone number, revealing that Lee liked the idea that Kang stolen his phone number and contacted him. During takes, we always talked about it and laughed a lot until the end.

The 26-year old actor also talks about knowing IU, saying he only knew her through music before they met. Kang even thought IU would be hard to approach but IU has a cool, easy-going personality making them close friends.

Further revealing they get along well since they were in the same age. Adding that IU becomes really focused when filming, which was also helpful for him.

Kang also encouraged viewers to continue watching the last ten episode of their drama. Stressing that the remaining episodes will be even more dramatic and painful than the first half.

Meanwhile, a source from SBS was quoted by an OSEN report that it will not extend the drama "Scarlet Heart Ryeo" since it is impossible to extend a series that was pre-shot, according to Koogle TV. The drama will end as planned after 20-episodes.

The final episode is scheduled to air on Oct. 31 but it is yet to be determine whether the finale will be broadcast on the said date or a week earlier on Oct. 25, with both 19th and 20th episode to be broadcast in a row. Also, there are speculations that the network might run an extra 21st episode on Nov. 1.
