South Korean singer, songwriter, model and actor Nichkhun of the boy group 2PM has been very close with his bandmates since their formation in 2010. However, despite their tight bond, the artist revealed in a recent interview with SBS Love FM’s “Yoon Hyung Bin’s Two Man Show” that he has not yet introduced his pals to his sister.
“There’s currently no member that I would want to introduce my younger sister to,” the Thai-American star stated, as quoted by Soompi.
He added: “I know them too well. I think if one of the members dated my sister and they broke up, then my relationship with that member would become awkward. I would introduce them to a dongsaeng that I know, but not a real younger sister.”
Meanwhile, Nichkhun was named as the “mom of 2PM” by fellow band member Woohyoung on their recent guesting in SBS’ cooking show “Have You Eaten?” on Sept. 17, Soompi reported. According to Woohyoung, his friend’s warm attitude made him look like the group’s mother figure.
“Nichkhun is like a mom to our team. Like a mom, he is always by our side, warmly taking care of us,” said Woohyoung.
Often called as the “Thai Prince in South Korea” due to his wealthy family background, Nichkhun joined the boy group 2PM in 2008. Aside from his commitment to the band, the star also starred in various acting projects. He is known for his portrayals in “Welcome to the Show”, “One and a Half Summer”, and “Ouran High School Host Club”.
