Bollywood superstar Akshay Kumar is all set to work again with one of his favorite male costar Paresh Rawal.

As per media reports, "Hera Pheri" fame director Priyadarshan has finalized Kumar and Rawal as the lead actors of his next project. The "Oppam" director recently said that he will start shooting of the movie from April next year, Deccan Chronicle newspaper reported.

"Akshay will play a loud, fun-loving Punjabi character in Rohit's production," a source said. "Paresh has been busy with politics ever since he won the Lok Sabha ticket for the BJP and has done very few films, but he and Priyan are friends, so the actor is making time for this film. He plays a pivotal role in the film," the source added, according to DNA India newspaper.

The Rohit Shetty produced comedy movie also marks return of hit trio of Priyadarshan, Kumar and Rawal after a gap of seven years. The trio had earlier worked together in massively successful comedy movies "Hera Pheri" and "Bhool Bhulaiyya." They were last seen together in 2009 comedy "De Dana Dan."

The 49-year-old "Airlift" actor is riding high after the success of his last two movies - "Rustom" and "Housefull 2." Kumar is currently busy shooting for his next movie "Jolly LLB 2." The comedy courtroom drama is a sequel of 2013 hit movie "Jolly LLB," which had featured Arshad Warasi, Boman Irani and Amrita Rao in lead roles. Apart from Kumar, "Jolly LLB 2" also stars Annu Kapoor and Saurabh Shukla in lead roles. It is slated to release in February 2017.
