Actor Park Bo Gum is confirmed to have recorded the newest soundtrack of his own drama "Moonlight Drawn By Clouds." Although the release date is still under wraps, reports claim the OST will be ballad.

Park's agency Blossom Entertainment confirmed the "Moonlight Drawn By Clouds" star is set to record the drama's OST on Oct. 5, Soompi noted. The label added they have not decided as to when the soundtrack will be released.

Previously, the "Moonlight Drawn By Clouds" star revealed he used to dream of becoming a singer-songwriter before debuting as an actor. Hence, Park said he sent a video of himself singing while playing the piano to SM, YG and JYP Entertainment.

Meanwhile, producer Kim of "Moonlight Drawn By Clouds" admitted Park struggled with his character in the drama, adding that the actor was even intimated by co-star Cheon Ho Jin who takes the role of Kim Hun.

"I was worried about Park Bo Gum's capability to adapt to the prince character. All we could do was practice, so he practiced multiple times. He also struggled a lot at first," the producer said as quoted by Allkpop.

As a result, the "Moonlight Drawn By Clouds" producer said Park has gotten used to his character and improved well after a couple of months. "After seeing Bo Gum perfecting his character, I came to rethink the previous filmings. So we actually re-filmed the first 2 episodes."

"Luckily, we had time to re-film due to the Olympics, and thanks to that, Bo Gum was portrayed well from the first episode," Kim added.

Catch the last four episodes of "Moonlight Drawn By Clouds" on Oct. 10, 11 and 17, 18 on KBS2 at 22:00 KST.
