"Harry Potter" star Daniel Radcliffe wants a role in HBO's "Game of Thrones." However, he wants it to have a twist.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, Radcliffe is not coming after Kit Harington's role in "Game of Thrones," making Jon Snow safe and sound. He does not particularly care as long as he can share the same fate as many other Westeros denizens.
Radcliffe enthusiastically expressed his desire to cameo in HBO's "Game of Thrones." He said that he would be so happy if the production would bring him in the TV series and just kill him. He does not care if that cameo is a brief one.
"Game of Thrones" is always on a high demand for corpses. Radcliffe is more than a little bit used to his recent role in "Swiss Army Man" as a dead body. He has superhuman abilities specifically gas-powered abilities.
Radcliffe would not be the first person to appear in Westeros briefly. "John Wick" actor Ian McShane also popped up in "Game of Thrones" Season 6 to deliver some lines in an Englishman way, Entertainment Weekly reported. His character ended quickly before The Hound found him hanging as a result of a raid.
Radcliffe is particularly selective when it comes to TV work. He said that he already have a little bit of freedom. He does not have to turn a project down every time he reads a script for something that is filming next year because he is not available.
"Game of Thrones" continued its war march at this year's ceremony after sweeping the Emmys in 2015. It earned best drama for its second year in a row. It helped the HBO won a total net of 22 in the ceremony.
"Game of Thrones" Season 7 is set to premiere in the summer of 2017.
