G-Dragon continues to draw flak from netizens for his newly launched "PEACEMINUSONE" fashion products. Previously, netizens slammed the clothing line for being overpriced. Now, people are pointing out its laundry label which they claim as "misogynistic."
According to Allkpop, the laundry label of "PEACEMINUSONE" fashion products states, "DO NOT LAUNDRY; DO NOT BLEACH; DO NOT IRON; DRY IN SHADE; ...BLAH BLAH... F*CK IT; JUST GIVE IT TO YOUR MOTHER."
The laundry label was uploaded on the Instagram account of "PEACEMINUSONE" ahead of the launching. However, netizens can't help but react to it now that the fashion products are up for grabs.
Many netizens slammed "PEACEMINUSONE" fashion products for its likely misogynistic laundry label. Others got infuriated stating that the language conveys gender stereotyping.
"Extremely sexist. You should know how to do your own laundry too," a commenter wrote. Another netizen posted, "Do you think that's funny? To me it sounds really disrespectful."
While many netizens slammed G-Dragon for his "PEACEMINUSONE" fashion products, others came to rescue the BIGBANG member saying that the laundry label has nothing to do with feminism and sexism.
Other than that, netizens are also complaining about the prices of "PEACEMINUSONE" fashion products. According to reports, G-Dragon's caps and T-shirts range from 200 to 300 US dollars.
As per HypeBeast, "PEACEMINUSONE" represents the personality of G-Dragon who is known not only for his musicality, but also for his influence in fashion. The BIGBANG member personally designed his fashion products with the help of his stylist Gee Eun.
Despite receiving complains about his "PEACEMINUSONE" fashion products, G-Dragon refused to address these issues and has remained tight-lipped. However, some of his fans understood that the BIGBANG member is a global artist, hence, his fashion products are quite costly.
