The "Baahubali 2" first look release date has been announced. The long awaited first look of Indian epic fantasy "Baahubali 2" or "Baahubali: The Conclusion" - sequel of 2015 blockbuster "Baahubali: The Beginning" - is all set to be released on Oct. 22.
Director SS Rajamouli will release the first look at 18th MAMI Mumbai film festival on Friday. "I am really excited to share the first look of Baahubali 2 with all the fans," Rajamouli said in a statement, Indian Express newspaper reported. "Doing it at MAMI Mela is going to be a lot of fun, especially with the entire cast on stage with me."
The "Baahubali" cast members Rana Daggubati and Anushka Shetty will also take part in the festival to share their experiences on the making of movie. The movie's makers are planning to launch a graphic novel, a 360 degree video and a virtual reality teaser preview, Indo Asian News Service (IANS) news wire reported. The eight day long Mumbai International Film Festival (MAMI) began on Thursday in the presence of Bollywood heavyweights Amitabh Bachchan and Aamir Khan.
The second installment of "Baahubali" franchise - "Baahubali: The Conclusion" - is slated to hit theaters in June 2017. It stars Prabhas, Rana Daggubati, Tamannah Bhatia, Anushka Shetty, Ramya Krishnan and Sathyraj in key roles. It is promised to be bigger and better than its first part. Rajamouli is currently shooting for movie's climax action sequence in Andhra Pradesh. He is expected finish shooting for the movie next month.
