Doctor Strange himself, Benedict Cumberbatch will host the ''Saturday Night Live'' on the fifth of November. The favorite show will take a breather on October 29 before resuming on November 5 with Benedict as the new host.
Entertainment Weekly noted that this will imprint Cumberbatch's initial hosting of the depicting humorous series. He will be joined by Beyoncé's sister, Solange Knowles who will have a musical number and will accompany him throughout the broadcast.
The 40-year-old actor will follow Emily Blunt, Lin-Manuel Miranda, Margot Robbie, and Tom Hanks as emcee on this SNL's season. It will be the last episode that will be aired before the U.S. presidential election.
Previously this week, he revealed that he is going to be a father again the second time around with wife, Sophie Hunter, according to Just Jared.
Over a year ago, the couple welcomed their first child Christopher Carlton Cumberbatch with the following announcement: "Benedict Cumberbatch and Sophie Hunter are delighted to announce the arrival of their beautiful son. We would kindly ask everyone to respect the family's privacy during these next few precious weeks."
Meanwhile, Cumberbatch has been occupied promoting his new movie ''Doctor Strange" that will hit theaters on November 4. The actor who is also promoting his "Sherlock" TV series is getting in good shape to develop a muscular body like any other superheroes and not just relying on their costume to get that 'superhero body'.
Rather than hitting dumbbells and another sort of weights for hours, Cumberbatch took it slowly but with a focused approach. He incorporated it into a steady diet along with exercise for over a long period. He called his diet 'Shakespeare diet' since his training began while in London playing Hamlet.
