Draymond Green who was known for landing a kick when jumping in the air is back to his his nasty habit again. This time he almost kick Portland Trail Blazers guard Alan Crabbe.
Crabbed was defending him, when Green attempted to drive into the paint. Green instinctively threw his right foot toward Crabbe as he landed. The video showed that his kicked almost hit Crabbe according to report by FOX Sports.
Last season his inclination to smash his leg during contact with the defender made two incidents. The first one was in the Western Conference Finals against Oklahoma City Thunder, when he kicked center Steven Adams in the groin in the Game 3. He was fined $25,000 and a retroactive flagrant-2 foul.
Another incident was against LeBron James in the Game 4 of NBA Finals. James allegedly stepped on him as Green fell after kicking James. Following the incident, Green and James entangled in the fight. Both players got penalized, Green with flagrant-1 foul and James was given technical foul.
In the final preseason game against Portland Trailblazers on Oct. 21, after the incident, Crabbe approached Green and pushed aside by the 26-year old power forward. They both exchanged words and had to be separated by teammates, as reported by Bleacher Report.
Green uses his athleticity and agility to overcome his shortcomings. With only 6'7" height, he was considered undersize to play power forward. However, his profile suits a high-pace gameplay by the Warriors. Green is also an excellent defender with a very strong defensive rebounder. He is also a good ball handler, which is very useful to start the offense after he makes rebound.
He is also able to shoot three-pointers with 34.2 percentage in 3-point field goals. During his four year stint in the Dubs, he averages 8.7 points and 6.5 rebound in the regular season. While in the playoffs, his productivity increased significantly with 12.6 points and 8.7 rebounds.
