T.O.P is gearing up for his impending mandatory military service next year, and just recently, the BIGBANG member has undergone the conscripted police examination for his enlistment.
As per Allkpop, an exclusive report from Xports News claimed T.O.P has finished the conscripted police examination on Tuesday morning. Further reports revealed the idol's real name, Choi Seung Hyun, is listed among other applicants on the website of conscripted police.
The conscripted police will release the results on Nov. 10, and those who will pass the examinations will be enlisted as conscripted police. Some K-pop idols who are serving as conscripted police include Siwon and Donghae of Super Junior and Changmin of TVXQ.
Previously, BIGBANG members talked about the impending mandatory military service, revealing that T.O.P will be the first one to be enlisted. During a press conference, BIGBANG's G-Dragon said they are willing to serve the country, Soompi noted.
"Whenever our country calls us, we'll go. We don't know when or who it will be, so I want to show people the five-member BIGBANG for as long as we're allowed," G-Dragon said.
The BIGBANG member added he is worried on what will happen after they have completed their mandatory military service. "We'll go and do our duty well. It's the aftermath that's the problem. However, when that time arrives, we might be older and have changed our minds," he said.
G-Dragon went on, "Although we will always be BIGBANG, we don't know what will happen when we come back [from enlistment]. But no matter how long it takes, when I find my confidence again, I'll definitely reappear in front of the public eye again, right?"
But before their enlistment, BIGBANG is set to make a comeback with a new album and two title tracks this year. The K-pop boy band recently finished filming one of the two music videos they will be releasing before they will serve their mandatory military service.
