Khloe Kardashian and Lamar Odom divorce drama is almost over. The estranged couple has signed divorce papers that will officially put an end to their marriage, sources confirm.
Reports reveal that Kardashian and Odom have entered a settlement over their estate and that they signed the paperwork on Oct. 21, Friday. The papers are expected to be signed by the judge in November to become final, ET Online reports. Under California law, divorce takes six months from the time of filing before it gets finalized.
The 32-year-old "Keeping Up With the Kardashians" star first filed for divorce from Odom in 2013, just four years after their wedding in 2009. However, following Odom's drug overdose incident in 2015 that nearly killed him, Kardashian put off the divorce proceedings to focus on her husband's recovery.
"I'm there helping him and I love him and I've always loved him," Kardashian said at the time. "That will never change, and I just feel like it's a really insensitive thing to fast forward a divorce."
In May 2016, Kardashian refilled the divorce paperwork, citing irreconcilable differences as the ground for their split. A source claims that the couple remains on good terms and that the NBA star was aware of Kardashian's decision to pursue the divorce.
In the meantime, Kardashian is dating NBA player Tristan Thompson, who is 7 years younger that the reality star. Insiders say the couple is very serious and that they "really dig each other."
"She's very supportive of him, and they are getting serious. They really dig each other a lot, and she's planning to spend more and more time out there with him," a source tells People. Kris Jenner approves of the relationship, and she describes the pair as "really cute." "You know, she's having a good time. He seems like a really nice guy," Jenner says of her daughter's new relationship.
