Bollywood stars Shahrukh Khan and Alia Bhatt will appear on the first episode of new season of celebrity talk show "Koffee with Karan." Khan and Bhatt will be seen promoting their upcoming romance drama "Dear Zindagi."
The 50-year-old "Fan" actor confirmed the news on his twitter account. He also shared a picture of himself with Bhatt and Johan from the set of the show, Business Standard newspaper reported. "Some work days are not work. They are love and happiness. Thanks Koffee team for having me over. Have a great season again," he wrote.
Filmaker Karan Johar will be returning as a host of "Koffee with Karan." The fifth season of the popular talks show is all set to start from November 7, Mumbai-based Mid Day newspaper reported. Earlier media reports said that Pakistani actor Fawad Khan, who will be next seen in Johar's upcoming romance flick "Ae Dil Hai Mushkil," was finalised as the first guest of the show. However, the "Humsafar" actor opted out of the show due to recent controversy surrounding on Pakistani actors working in India.
Apart from Guari Shinde's "Dear Zindagi," Khan will be next seen in Rahul Dholakia's "Raees" opposite Pakistani actress Mahira Khan. A Mumbai based nationalist body is demanding a ban over the release of movie due to presence of a Pakistani artist in it. "Dear Zindagi" is slated to hit theaters on November 25 while "Raees" will be released on Jan. 27, clashing with Hrithik Roshan's "Kaabil" at box office.
