Square Enix is at it again with another "Final Fantasy" title aside from the usual names we've been getting like "World of Final Fantasy" and "Final Fantasy XV." Although it has been vague with the details, fans seem to be excited about this new one.

According to the official Japanese website¸ the announcement featured a countdown that will expire in a few days (that being said, we may be getting three to four days remaining already). In spite of the lack of details around it, all we could see on the website's URL is "FF_NEW," which may mean that a new title is in the making.

Other things worth noticing on the bottom of the website are the labels "iPhone" and "Android," indicating that the game would certainly target mobile devices. In addition to that information, the game will be having "Chrono Trigger" director Takashi Tokita taking the reins of this project, according to Dualshockers. Here's a statement from the director:

"Final Fantasy is about characters with anger and sadness, and dramatic battles full of humanity. And more than anything else, we should not forget the fantasy."

The website also boasts of the actual beautiful artwork from Yoshitaka Amano, the artist who often worked in visualizing the concept of the Final Fantasy series.

In other news, "Final Fantasy XV" has officially "gone gold" already, bringing over a decade-long worth of development to close. The game will officially be released on Nov. 29 and has recently featured a DLC that involves an online multiplayer gameplay in the form of co-op.
