"American Horror Story" creator Ryan Murphy has announced that the show will crossover between Murder House and Coven.
At "PopFest" Murphy clarified his statement that hints a return to the characters and mythos introduced in Coven Season 3. His announcement are music to the ears of fans who anticipated a crossover in "AHS" Season 6, Screen Rant reported.
"We do know what we're going to do. It's not going to be next season, but we are going to do a season that's a crossover between Murder House and Coven together, which is very bizarre," Murphy said.
Murphy went to say that they had already talked to actors from both of the Seasons. However, he clarified that it won't be the seventh season of the show but simply, "out of scheduling," Entertainment Weekly reported.
"Murder House" is the name of the first season of "American Horror Story." It premiered on October 2011. The storyline involves a family who found themselves inside a haunted house where unspeakable events had occurred a few years prior to the date that they moved in.
On the other hand, "Coven" is the third season of the series that follows a Coven of Salem witches fighting for survival. The season featured flashbacks to the 1830s, 1910s and 1970s.
"American Horror Story" is an anthology horror television series under FX. The seasons of the show are self-contained miniseries that follows a disparate set of characters, settings and storylines. Some of the plot elements are loosely based on true events.
