Netflix's "Stranger Things" breakout young star Millie Bobby Brown signs with WME for representation in all areas. She was reportedly offered by all the big agencies. However, only WME landed her in a very competitive situation.

According to Variety, Brown's father had been asking for a large sum of money upfront while meeting with other agencies resulting to the turn off of many companies. WME did not pay to represent Brown.

Brown has arguably become the hottest star-to-watch following the rabid success of the supernatural Netflix pop culture phenom sci-fi/horror drama series "Stranger Things" this summer. The said hit series has already been renewed for Season 2 set to start production this month, Deadline reported.

The 12-year-old British actress Brown plays one of the central figures on the "Stranger Things" series as a mysterious young girl named Eleven having telekinetic powers. Her on-screen talents and range of ability to portray such an emotionally-troubled character have wowed critics and fans - over 1.5 million of them are her followers on social media across Instagram and Twitter.

Brown had smaller roles on the fantasy- drama series "Once Upon A Time in Wonderland," action police procedural TV series "NCIS," TV mockumentary "Modern Family," and medical drama TV series "Grey's Anatomy." She also co-starred on the BBC Two/BBC America drama TV series based on Michael Marshall Smith's novel of the same name "Intruders".

Aside from Brown's acting skills, she has won over audiences with her off-screen charisma. She released a video of her head being shaved for her part on "Stranger Things" and even put on a song-and-dance number at the Emmy awards along with her costars in the said series.

Brown has also been pursuing music. She does covers of English singer-songwriters Amy Jade Winehouse and Adele Laurie Blue Adkins and American singer-actress Beyoncé Giselle Knowles-Carter on her YouTube channel. She also rapped a Nicki Minaj verse on Jimmy Fallon's "Tonight Show" last summer that also went viral.

Brown will continue to be managed by Melanie Greene at Affirmative Entertainment and attorney Steve Warren while being repped by WME.
