Android 7.0 Nougat update for Moto E3 Power and Moto G is still uncertain as OEM hints of not including these budget phones on the list.

Motorola already announced that fifteen devices will receive the latest Android OS update until the end of the year. Rumor has it that Moto G4, Moto G4 Plus, Moto Z Force, Moto Z, Moto Z Droid, Moto Z Force Droid, Moto Z Play, and Moto Z Play Droid will be the first few devices to receive the OTA update.

The aforementioned devices will be followed by Moto X Force, Moto X Play, Moto X Style, Moto X Pure Edition (3rd Gen), Moto G (3rd gen), Moto G Play (4th Gen), Moto E (3rd gen), Moto Droid 2015 series, Droid Turbo 2, and Droid Maxx 2, according to Neurogadget.

It was anticipated that Motorola will release the update in October. It has been reported that Motorola already tested the update on Moto G4. However, there are no Motorola devices reported to have received the OTA in any region.

Whilst the Android 7.0 Nougat update hasn't rolled out yet, there's still a ray of light that Moto E3 Power and Moto G will taste the latest Android OS too.

Although the official OTA isn't out yet, Motorola Maxx and Droid Turbo can now be updated through crDroid ROM built by XDA.

According to the developers, everything that works on Android 6.0 Marshmallow is fully functional on the new ROM.

It comes pre-rooted which features Turbo Toast app with support for Turbo Charging like on the stock ROM.

Other features also include iSU app, BHB27 Mod Kernel, notification LED support, custom features of Cyanogen for XT1225, XT1250 and XT1254 quark models. Also, the crDroid ROM includes all the features, improvements, and bug fixes added on quark models, as noted by XDA.

Since the initial list of devices caused an uproar to Motorola budget-phone owners. Motorola is expected to answer queries whether it will bring Android Nougat 7.0 update to Moto E3 Power and Moto G or not.
