After its confirmation on their long-awaited debut on Oct. 20, new girl group MOMOLAND unveils music video teaser for their debut. Their debut track is called "JJan! Koong! Kwang!"
In their newly released music video teaser for their debut track, the group will welcome you to MOMOLAND, which resembles an Alice in Wonderland optical illusions. Consisting of five tracks, the group's first mini album "Welcome to MOMOLAND," is scheduled to drop on Nov. 10 at midnight KST, Allkpop revealed.
Produced by Duble Kick Company, MOMOLAND is from Mnet's survival audition program "Search for MOMOLAND." The group is made up of the seven finalists Hye Bin, Na Yun, Ah In, Yeon Woo, Joo E, Jane, and Nancy.
We can recall that the group's debut was delayed after failing their final mission on the show. A press release from Duble Kick Company revealed that "The MOMOLAND members were asked to gather 3,000 people for their final mission and perform two songs that will appear on their debut album. Unfortunately, they did not succeed in their mission, gathering only 2,300 people," Soompi reported.
Since then, the group continued their training and attended various festivals and school concerts. MOMOLAND also successfully completed their crowd funding effort to finance their debut album.
The group raised about 10 million won ($8744 USD), surpassing their initial goal of 7 million won. Their title track will be produced by Duble Sidekick.
