Korean stars react after Donald Trump beats Hillary Clinton for US Presidency

Results are out and the other party has already conceded, but netizens, including our very own Korean celebrities, are not so happy with the outcome.

On Wednesday, Donald Trump was declared as the newest President-elect of the United States after defeating the Democratic Party's nominee, Hillary Clinton. On the same day, Trump addressed his supporters and said Clinton has phoned him to concede from the race.

"I just received a call from Secretary Clinton. She congratulated us on our victory. And I congratulated her on a hard-fought campaign," the 70-yeard-old President-elect said as per CBS.

The outcome of the elections not only shocked the Americans, but also people from across the globe, considering that the US president is said to be the most powerful person in the world.

As a result, many Korean celebrities expressed their thoughts about the recent US elections through their respective SNS. According to Allkpop, actor Yoo Ah In took to his Instagram account to share a picture of sunset and wrote, "No matter what happens, the sun will rise in the morning."

Eric Nam and John Park, who are both from the US said they "nauseous" and "scared" of the US elections results. Meanwhile, U-Kiss member Alexander wanted to console his American fans after the elections.

"Really wish I could comfort you guys with a hug. All I can say is "Never lose hope" and "In God we trust." God bless the world. Good night," the K-Pop idol tweeted.

On the other hand, actor John Cho, in a series of tweet, said he feels dismal after learning about the results. "Feels like a funeral out here," followed by a quote from Clinton, "Fighting for what's right is always worth it."
