"Uncontrollably Fond" actor Kim Woo Bin reveals his expert hacker role in his upcoming film "Master." The film is slated for release in local theaters this December.
In a report on Wednesday, Kim graciously discussed his role as an expert hacker on his upcoming film. "I tried to interpret the character in my unique way, focusing on his mundane side," KpopHerald reported.
Director Cho Eui-seok added that Kim offered a slew of ideas to portray the passionate 20-something role. Stressing that his thoughts have added to making the part full of feelings.
The upcoming thriller motion picture is about an intellectual crime investigation team discovering the anomalies of Won Network. The company is involved in a massive fraud cases.
Playing as an intelligent hacker in the movie, Kim is also the Section Chief of Won Network and a close aide of the fraudster-business mogul President Jin (Lee Byung-hun). South Korean actor Gang Dong-won will play as head of the investigation team who will pursue the fraudster.
Meanwhile, an upcoming Kim Woo-bin themed phone is in line. Previously, his management revealed that Kim will become the next Korean star to release a phone under his name.
According to sidusHQ, the 27-year old actor will become the next face of Samsung Galaxy S7 - limited edition, to be released on Nov. 21, Yonhap News reported. The phone will have different functions featuring Kim.
The features will include Kim's schedule, a morning call service and ringtone playing his voice, emojis, pictures, and videos of the actor. Part of the proceeds will be donated for surgeries to children with rare diseases.
Earlier, Hallyu star Lee Jong Suk and "Cheese in the Trap" actor Park Hae Jin have been reported to release a mobile phone bearing their names. Both phones are slated for release in China before the year ends.
