Preview

Golden State has now stringed two consecutive wins after an embarrassing 20-point loss to the Los Angeles Lakers last Friday.

Stephen Curry is back to his old hot-shooting self as he followed up his 13-for-17 record-breaking three-point shooting performance in the team's Monday night win against New Orleans at the Oracle Arena with a 4-for-8 performance in their 116-95 victory over the depleted Dallas Mavericks also on their own floor on Wednesday, as per SF Gate.

Curry shot 8-for-12 from the field, resulting in 24 points plus three rebounds, six assists, and one steal in a remarkable performance.

However, the night still belonged to Kevin Durant, who scored 28 points with 10 boards and four assists to lead the Warriors. Klay Thompson chipped in 20 points, two boards, and four assists while Draymond Green had 16 points, 10 rebounds, four assists, and two blocks.

Thompson buried his first seven shots in the game, scoring 18 of his 20 points in the first quarter as the Warriors got to a quick start to build a lead they never relinquished.

"I feel it's coming every game, honestly," said Thompson. "I won't let missed shots dictate how hard I play. As long as I play hard, I know I'll be successful. It's that simple."

Meanwhile, the Nuggets has alternated winning and losing their last four matches, with the most recent one ending in a heartbreaking 108-107 loss to the Memphis Grizzlies on the road at the FedExForum, via SB Nation.

Emmanuel Mudiay led Denver with 23 points, four rebounds, and seven assists as all four of head coach Mike Malone's starters have all scored in double figures.

Veteran wingman Danilo Gallinari netted 21 points which came along with seven boards, two assists, three steals, and a shot block in 38 minutes of playing time.

Youngsters Gary Harris, Nikola Jokic, and Jusuf Nurkic fired 15, 12, and 11 points respectively.

Prediction

Another lopsided win for the Warriors is predicted. Golden State won seven of their last eight road games and they are 3-1 in away matches so far this season. The Nuggets are currently 0-1 at home.
