"Middle-Earth: Shadow of Mordor" is two years old now and it will be one of the games that will be enhanced with 4K in the PS4 Pro.

According to Gaming Bolt, the developer Monolith Productions has already released a trailer showcasing what's in store for the enhanced version after numerous announcements on the game's improvements in the blog post.

Monolith Productions has already revealed that "Middle-Earth: Shadow of Mordor" will run at 4K on the PS4 Pro, while also maintaining a seamless 30fps. This is just a patch to the already existing "Middle-Earth: Shadow of Mordor" and "Middle-Earth: Shadow of Mordor Game of the Year Edition," as reported by Attack of the Fanboy.

"Middle-Earth: Shadow of Mordor" was released back in 2014 and was highly praised for its innovative Nemesis system. This system allows the players to form rivalries with the brutal enemy orcs. If the players lose the battle, the enemies would level up in ranks and, on the other hand, would retain scars for every battle they lose.

The game takes place in 60 years between between the events of J.R.R. Tolkien's "The Hobbit" and "The Lord of The Rings." Players take the role of Talion (voiced and motion captured by Troy Baker), a ranger of Gondor tasked in guarding the Black Gate of Mordor, who was killed along with his family by the Black Hand of Sauron. In death, Talion converges with the wraith of an elf named Celebrimbor (voiced by Alastair Duncan), the greatest Elven smith master of the Second Age. Both have the common goal of seeking revenge against Sauron and his armies and will use their abilities stop them at whatever the cost.

There hasn't been any official announcement of a sequel to "Middle-Earth: Shadow of Mordor" yet.
