Chanyeol, Lee Sun Bin, Choi Tae Joon and Ryu Won join lineup of upcoming drama ‘Missing Nine’

Four more artists have been confirmed to join the casting of upcoming MBC drama "Missing Nine."

According to Allkpop, Chanyeol, Lee Sun Bin, Choi Tae Joo and Ryu Won have been casted for the drama. Reports claimed the EXO member will take the role of Lee Yeol, who is a singer and an ex-member of Jung Kyung Ho's band.

After leaving the band, Chanyeol will go on as a solo artist after improving his abilities. On the other hand, Choi takes the role of an actor who later joined Jung's band, while Lee plays as a famous actress and Ryu as a rookie actress.

Soompi reported "Missing Nine" is a story of nine people who went missing after a plane crash. Cast members of the upcoming drama reportedly have started the pre-production of the upcoming drama, which is the script reading.

During their first script reading, Jung reportedly included ad-libs, while Baek Jin Hee kept the environment light with her enthusiasm.

Further reports revealed "Missing Nine" will take the Wednesdays and Thursdays slot on MBC starting January, replacing "Weightlifting Fairy Kim Bok Joo." The MBC drama reportedly contacted Kang Ha Neul to play the lead role, however, the actor refused to take the offer due to conflict of schedules.

Aside from that, Kim Ban Di was chosen to write for the screenplay of "Missing Nine," but the job was later given to Han Jung Hoon.

Following the announcement, fans expressed their eagerness to watch the upcoming drama, with the hopes that "Missing Nine" will turn out to be a good MBC drama. While others are hoping their idols will be casted for the upcoming mystery drama.
