Cattrall responded positively to a Twitter last Saturday morning during the "Wendy Williams Show" when asked if there is a possible spin off where she will be reunited with co-stars Sara Jessica Parker, Cynthia Nixon, and Kristin Davis. She tweeted that she is very flattered and moved, saying she can't wait to make everyone laugh again. She added that she has her fingers crossed.

The last time the beloved female team were together was when "Sex and the City 2" hit theaters six years ago, New York Daily News reported. Last October, Parker told the press that there is always a possibility that she may star as the sex columnist Carrie Bradshaw once more. Whether the spinoff would be a series or a movie, no one can tell yet.

2018 is the twentieth year since the premier of the comedy series on HBO, which means a reboot would be just right, E! Online reported.

SATC is a sitcom that explores the sexuality of four female New Yorkers in the 90s. It stars Sarah Jessica Parker as Carrie Bradshaw as a columnist turned best-selling author; Cynthia Nixon as Miranda Hobbes the red-haired lawyer; Kristin Davis as Charlotte York the manager who comes from a wealthy family; and Kim Cattrall who plays Samantha Jones, the PR agent who is also a nymphomaniac.

The story revolves around these four female friends gossiping about their sex lives or the lack of it. It is a very sexual sitcom, but ironic at the same time, which makes it very funny.

Just like "Sex and the City 2" where the stars were last seen wandering on the desert, fans have also been wandering if there would be a third act to the comedy sitcom turned movie. Cattrall and Parker may be giving out hints, but all these should be treated with a grain of salt as there are no concrete announcements yet on whether there really would be a new SATC movie, or series.
