Song Joong Ki amuse fans for sweet gesture towards ‘Descendant of the Sun’ co-star Song Hye Kyo

"Descendants of the Sun" actor Song Joong Ki once again showed that he is indeed a nice guy. In a recent fan meeting event of his co-star Song Hye Kyo, Captain Yoo unveils his sweet yet friendly act with the actress.

On Nov. 13, a fan meeting event was held at COEX Mall to celebrate Hye Kyo's 20th year in the industry. Guests of the show are stars Joong Ki and Yoo Ah In, making fans more excited.

After their turns as guest, the two stars left the stage while Hye Kyo's fan meeting continue. However, while the actress read a letter of her feeling to her fans, she began crying, prompting Joong Ki to ran back on stage with a tissue, Allkpop reported. Before leaving, Joong Ki bowed his head to the fans once more.

Fans were left super touched by Joong Ki's gesture since it had been a long time that he had left the stage. It clearly shows that the 31-year old actor remained at the event even though his part on the show is already done.

Joong Ki even run out to comfort Hye Kyo when the star delivered her touching message to the fans. The fans can't even hide their amusement seeing the Song-Song couple once again.

Meanwhile, the 34-year old actress recently signed an endorsement deal as an Asian campaign model with the British technology company, Dyson.

In a report by KpopHerald, Dyson released their new ad campaign teaser with Hye Kyo on its various social media platforms. The Hallyu actress will promote Dyson's latest line of Supersonic hair-dryers in Korea, Hong Kong, Taiwan, and Singapore.

Hye Kyo first rose to fame in Korea and throughout Asia through her KBS drama "Autumn in my Heart (2000)" with co-stars Song Seung-heon and Won Bin. The romantic melodramatic series was a ratings success leading Hye Kyo to become a Hallyu star.

Just this year, the renowned star took the lead role in the massive pan-Asia hit drama "Descendants of the Sun," with Joong Ki. The drama is surprisingly popular that it ended a 38.8 percent viewership rating on its final episode.
