"Injustice: Gods Among Us" was one of the best DC superhero fighting games made by NetherRealms Studio. With a sequel now on the way, fans could not wait for the next set of features and characters to try out. However, reports say that NetherRealm Studios might not hit it for their target March 2017 game release.

One contributing factor to this delay may be due to the ongoing strike of the Screen Actors Guild and the American Federation of Television and Radio Artist (SAG-AFTRA), according to earlier reports. The voice actors who have roles in "Injustice 2" are claimed to have been affected by this strike, and it is still quite unsure when this will be resolved as the two groups fight to change their twenty years' worth of contract relationship.

Fans are still hoping that NetherRealm will still push through with their March 2017 initial release instead of a later date. So far, News Everyday reported that "Injustice 2" will feature the DC heroes and villains such as Batman, Superman, Supergirl, Wonderwoman, Gorilla Grodd, Blue Beetle, Deadshot, Atrocitus and Harley Quinn.

Even Ra's al Ghul is said to join the fray between heroes and villains. The character was known to be a classic villain in the Batman comic series, even appearing "The Dark Knight" film series and the DC comic-based TV series "Legends of Tomorrow" and "Arrow." In "Injustice 2," Ra's al Ghul might team up with Batman to take down the Kryptonian dictator Superman.
