In a recent interview, Girls' Generation member YoonA candidly shared her thoughts on her co-star Siwan and upcoming drama series "The King Loves."
The K-pop idol said she is positive she will get along with Siwan in no time, considering that they are working on the same project. "I currently don't have any relation to Siwan, but I think we will be able to get close fast," YoonA said as per Allkpop.
She continued, "I heard he's a good person. I'm looking forward to seeing what kind of person he is."
The Girls' Generation member also talked about her newest project, "The King Loves," which is expected to be aired next year. ""The King Loves" is a historical drama. I've done a historical drama in China, but this is the first time in Korea. I'm curious as to how it'll come out and am looking forward to it," YoonA said.
Reports claimed "The King Loves" is based on a 2011 novel of the same title. YoonA and Siwan will play the lead roles of the pre-produced drama, which will start rolling this month.
YoonA previously starred on "The K2," which aired its final episode on Nov. 12. The Girls' Generation member shared the screen with actor Ji Chang Wook, who revealed his relationship with YoonA, Soompi cited.
"We shared a lot of stories. To be honest, the final kiss scene shown in the drama was actually the first thing we filmed when we were filming overseas," Ji said, adding that they were only informed about the intimate scene upon arriving in Barcelona.
He went on, "I was so taken aback that I said "Let's become close as soon as possible." We had to become close as soon as possible because of the kiss scene."
