After six years and eight months, South Korean vocal trio V.O.S. launched its latest mini album titled "Re:union, The Real."

The new album has five songs, including two lead ballad tracks "The Only One For Me" and "The Day," wherein the latter was composed and written by member Choi Hyun Joon, which features a music video.

In Dec. 7, their new agency Happy Face Entertainment said they were happy to have the male vocal group sign a music contract with Kim Kyung Rok, Choi Hyun Joon and Park Ji Hun. Park was on solo when he was added to V.O.S., which was then promoting Kim and Choi as a duo.

It has been six years and eight months since their last album together "Routine Free." Fortunately, the reunion was greatly assisted by Star Empire Entertainment Manager Shin Joo Hak, who also made the group. As V.O.S manager and long-time friend, V.O.S and Shin are now heading Happy Face Entertainment where together they signed an agreement.

Voice for Soul or V.O.S. has yet to thank Happy Face Entertainment for bringing them back together to promote a new brand of songs, as per The Korea Herald.

Member Park Ji Hun, in a recent media event, reportedly said that they had been so long from each other that they felt uncomfortable, especially with the reunion. Their manager acted as their bridge and helped them understand each other. This is when they knew it was the right time for the reunion.

Choi even posted a picture of them in a recording studio, and wrote on his social media account SNS, where it states "After the twists and turns of six years, we return once again excited. I spend every day carefully, fearfully, and excitedly. Please look forward to it lots."

Choi explains the title of their new album, which was inspired by the group's debut album released in 2004 - The Real. They expressed that they wanted to be back just like good old happy days. It is said that their wish to come back reflects on the single "The Day," with it's like "back then, the skies were so clear, with fragrant smiles everywhere, will I be able to go back."
