Bethesda Softworks has announced that "Dishonored 2" will be getting a free update next month that will include a New Game Plus mode and new custom difficulty settings.
According to Attack of the Fanboy, the New Game Plus mode will allow players to carry over their game progression from their first playthrough to succeeding playthroughs. A new trailer for the game was released, titled "Play Your Way," which features the new update. Along with the trailer is the official description from Bethesda to the update:
"Whether you want to sneak around and never kill anyone, or leave a trail of blood and bodies in your wake, 'Dishonored 2' is all about letting you play your own way. With new non-lethal options, along with even more ways to fight and subdue your foes, 'Dishonored 2' is all about letting you be as improvisational as you like. There's even an option to play with no powers at all! Find out how 'Dishonored 2' embraces the 'play your way' philosophy with new gameplay and exclusive insights from the team at Arkane Studios."
Just recently, Bethesda was able to release an update to address performance problems that have been bothering PC players. According to Steam, the update 1.1 fixes only a few issues especially regarding frame rate. The response of the studio, however, is coming up with another update, being the version 1.2. Bethesda hopes that it "will address a broader range of issues including performance and is estimated to be available in the next week."
" Dishonored 2" is available now for PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC.
