A high-profile match between the Chicago Bulls (8-5) and Los Angeles Lakers (7-6) is scheduled on Nov. 20, Sunday at the Staples Center as the 2016-2017 NBA season continues.

Chicago snapped a four-game winning streak after dropping a 102-95 game to the current league leaders Los Angeles Clippers at the Staples Center on Saturday, as per the Chicago Tribune.

The Bulls led by five points at the end of the third quarter, but the Clippers rallied back with a 30-18 fourth period to hand head coach Fred Hoiberg's team their fifth loss this season.

Dwyane Wade had 28 points, eight rebounds, three assists, one steal, and two blocks in a losing effort while Jimmy Butler contributed 22 points, six boards, one assist, and one steal.

Big men Taj Gibson and Robin Lopez fired 11 and 10 points respectively and have combined for ten rebounds. Rajon Rondo almost has a triple-double performance with nine points, 10 boards, and eight assists with two steals.

The Bulls had allowed Clippers backup center Maurice Speights to score 11 of his 16 points in the fourth quarter as the hosts snatched away the victory.

Meanwhile, the Lakers lost for the second time in their last three games with a 116-107 defeat in the hands of perennial title contenders San Antonio Spurs also at their home stadium of Staples Center last Friday, CBS Local Los Angeles reported.

San Antonio raced to a 26-16 lead at the end of the first quarter but the Lakers came back in the second period to make it a tied ballgame at the half, 52-52. The Spurs then pulled away in the second half with a 39-24 run during the third quarter.

Lou Williams top-scored for the Lakers with 24 points coming off the bench. He also had three rebounds, three assists, and two steals.

Nick Young led the starters with 22 points, four boards, and two assists while Julius Randle had 13 points, nine boards, and seven assists in an impressive all-around performance.

Jordan Clarkson was again a force in the second unit with 20 points, three rebounds, three assists, and two steals in a losing effort.

Starting point guard D'Angelo Russell was out for the first time this season with a knee injury and he is expected to again miss this game versus the Bulls. Veteran floor general Jose Calderon started in his place.

Prediction

The Bulls are 4-4 on the road this season while the Lakers are 4-2 at home. A close match is expected, but Chicago is predicted to prevail.
