New costumes, attacks, and parallel quests will also be available for those wanting to pay for the extra content.
For the free update, the game will include a new event called Frieza Siege which will have players fight Frieza's army in Conton City. The event will have rewards including 10 exclusive jersey costumes. New skills, costumes, and attacks will also be available with the free update. Aside from Frieza Siege, players will also get a new raid boss which they will fight against an evil Yamcha. The update will also include some exclusive content, specifically for players in Europe. The Bandai Namco Entertainment Europe VIP Corner will feature five new teachers, including Android 16 and Future Gohan.
"Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2" is the second Dragon Ball video game to be released for the latest generation consoles. Bandai Namco has been known to give out exclusive content such as the Goku Black pre-order bonus. While the game has been released for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Microsoft Windows internationally, Japan only got a PS4 release. The first installment of the game was released in 2015, and much like its predecessor, Xenoverse 2 features iconic locations from the Dragon Ball universe. The game also features the much larger Conton City and certain skills will have to be learned through masters. One of the features that is being most promoted in the game is character customization, which allows players to make their own character, a feature not available in most Dragon Ball related games. The game also has multiplayer, with capabilities of up to 300 players at once.
