With just a week left before Square Enix releases "Final Fantasy XV" worldwide, the company has decided to release two trailers detailing the lore and features of the game.
The trailer introduces the fantasy world of Eos which is a mix of technological advancement and mystical history typical of a Final Fantasy game. XV is a full blown action RPG which is a development Square Enix recently made with the Final Fantasy games to make them more modernized. Along with doing various types of melee and magic attacks, players can also dodge, counterattack, as well set-up team strategies.
Through the trailer, the protagonist Noctis is introduced along with his four companions. Each of the characters have their own specializations. Noctis can make weapons appear out of thin air thanks to his royal bloodline. Other details discussed include Prompto's gunslinging and Ignis' cooking which can increase the stats of the party. The game also details on a lot of the different features in the game such as skill trees called Awakenings, strong otherworldly allies called the Astrals, and even full clothing customization.
In an interview with "Final Fantasy XV" director Hajime Tabata, he's discussed that the company is looking to make a PC version of the game. However, he details that he wants the game to be separately made to take advantage of the power that computers can give out. Downloadable content (DLC) is also in the works but the company will detail them sometime next year.
The trailer also showcases some of the things Tabata mentioned in the interview, including CGI sequences and travelling through cars or Chocobos. The car can also transform to a flying car later in the game which will allow players to move around the large world quicker.
A lot of side quests and secrets are also spread throughout the game, promising various rewards including rare gear and possibly legendary items. Mini games will also be found in "Final Fantasy XV", with the pinball game "Justice Monsters Five" available on mobile as well." Final Fantasy X"V will be available on the PlayStation 4, and Xbox One.
