After the filming of his upcoming movie “Brothers”, EXO member D.O. sat with “SectionTV” and shared the things he had learned from co-star Jo Jung Suk.
According to D.O., his character in the film is a kind of person who swears a lot. And because he is not very good is speaking profane words, he asked help from Jo and has quietly learned a lot from his fellow star.
"The character curses a lot, but I'm not very good at cursing. But all of a sudden, I got really good at it. It's all the results of practice," D.O. said as quoted by All Kpop.
He added: "I got lessons from Jo Jung Suk-hyung on cursing. I learned pronunciation and attitude, and all of a sudden I got really good, too."
D.O. and Jo’s upcoming film “Brothers” is set to open in cinemas on November 24. Joining them in the film is South Korea’s premier actress Park Shin Hye.
Meanwhile, D.O.’s band EXO has recently won the “Asia Star Award” at the 2016 Asia Artist Awards alongside actor Park Bo Gum and Girls’ Generation’s YoonA. In a recent interview, the Kpop idol stated that he is hoping that their group will get the same award for the fourth time next year.
“If EXO were to win a Daesang this time as well, then it would be crazy. If we were to receive such a great award, then it would be a source of motivation for us to work harder,” said D.O. as quoted by Soompi.
Furthermore, he said: “I’m also going to think of next year. I’m going to work really hard so that I only show a good image.”
D.O. auditioned to become S.M. Entertainment’s talent in 2010. A couple of years later, he became one of the members of the renowned boy group EXO.
