Square Enix's "NieR: Automata" has just recently released two new beautiful artworks featuring the Yorha troops commander and the two enigmatic characters Adam and Eve.
According to Dualshockers, the artwork pieces were revealed by character designer Yuya Nagai in his Twitter page. The character designer made the pieces through his studio CyDesignation (where main character designer Akihiko Yoshida is also working in) as a way to just pass the time and on his own initiative for fun, not intending originally for work.
Just earlier, reports have mentioned that "NieR: Automata" will be configured for the PS4 Pro platform, having developer Platinum Games aim for 4K textures, while still trying to maintain 60 FPS. Saito has at least confirmed that the game will be optimized for that.
"NieR: Automata" is set in the same universe as "Nier," a spin-off of the "Drakengard" series. If players took the fifth ending of the original "Nier" title, the latest title will be set in an unknown time after the original game. Here, the game will put players in the battles of combat android 2B, alongside her companions 9S and the obsolete prototype A2, fighting off against otherworly machine beings from the unknown reaches of space.
"NieR: Automata" producer, Yosuke Saito, mentioned that the game will heavily be focused on the story than just pure action.
"NieR: Automata" has already been finally scheduled for a Feb. 23, 2017 release date in Japan for the PS4, while the game will be released in the West sometime in 2017, both on PS4 and on Steam.
