During his guesting on tvN's "Taxi," Heechul shared his thoughts about sasaeng fans and his experience with them that made his conclude that they are not real fans.
According to Soompi, the Super Junior member was traumatized after his experience where sasaeng fans reportedly followed him to the comfort room. "Even now I locked the bathroom door and only use the sitting toilet," Heechul said.
The Super Junior member continued, "Long ago, fans once just threw open the door [when I was using the urinal], and I was traumatized by that experience. They would also secretly come into my house."
Heechul also said he does not consider sasaeng fans as real fans given what they have done to him and to other idols. Several idols have been complaining about sasaeng fans for reportedly invading their private lives.
Aside from the Super Junior member, EXO was also a victim of the alleged act of sasaeng fans. Just last month, Allkpop reported sasaeng fans have reportedly followed EXO in the hotel where the members were staying for a show overseas.
Further reports revealed a sasaeng fan even installed hidden cameras to check on what the idols are doing inside the hotel. However, EXO's Suho found the hidden camera and immediately reported it to the hotel's security.
On the other hand, BIGBANG's T.O.P took to his Instagram account to asked his sasaeng fans to stop visiting his place in Seoul. The idol added he gets "scared to death" when he hears his doorbell ringing, adding that his sasaeng fans usually to this even during the midnight.
After explaining his side, the BIGBANG member added he has had enough with this kind of activity and plans to report such case to the police when it happens again.
