After the wrist injury incident which resulted to malicious speculations, South Korean artist Sulli has finally broke her silence and apologized to her supporters on Instagram.
"I hurt myself on accident. T.T I'm sorry as it seems I've caused people to worry!" Sulli's post reads as quoted by All KPop.
Recently, the 22-year-old Hallyu star’s talent management agency S.M. Entertainment had also released their statement regarding their talent’s situation. According to the label as quoted by Soompi: “We spoke with Sulli, and confirmed that she injured her wrist due to carelessness while at home. She went to the emergency on Friday morning for treatment, after which she came home.”
Sulli was reportedly rushed to the emergency room of the Seoul National University Hospital on November 24 due to a 5cm (2in) cut on her wrist. Furthermore, she was allegedly under the influence of alcohol when she was taken to the health institution.
After the news of Sulli’s condition leaked out, rumors about the cause her injury also started to surface online. In fact, some netizens even assumed that she tried to cut her wrist because of her long-time boyfriend Choiza
As a response, Choiza’s label Amoeba Culture said: “There's gossip regarding Choiza and Sulli's allegedly bad relationship, but we cannot say. It's not possible for the agency to look into the domain of his personal life."
Born as Choi Jin Ri, Sulli is a former member of the girl group f(x). She is also known for her roles in “To the Beautiful You” and “Fashion King”.
