NBA Regular Season 2016-17: Warriors, Clippers are the two best teams in the West, so far

Competition in the Western Conference has been so fierce for the last few seasons with so many great teams in the conference. Regardless of the tough competition, Golden State Warriors and LA Clippers are two teams that stand out among the 15 teams in the conference.

Golden State Warriors have the addition of Kevin Durant in the off-season. Some analysts predicted that there may be a rivalry between Durant and Stephen Curry, or other consequences. But coach Steve Kerr shows that he is able to integrate Durant into the Warriors. Although the team started the season slowly, but they now have a 15-2 records with 11-game winning streaks

Their two losses were against the San Antonio Spurs and the Los Angeles Lakers. Last week, the Warriors pay back and defeated Lakers with a huge margin 149-106 on Nov. 23. According to ESPN, Golden State Warriors made Lakers as one of their course in the feast.

The team set the Franchise record with 47 Assists in the game. Watch all the assists made during the game against Lakers below.

While LA Clippers quetly shows their impressive game as they made 14-4 records. Recently they just started the road trip. The Clippers defeated Mavericks 124-104 and suffered two consecutie losses, 97-108 against Pistons and 70-91 against Indiana Pacers this Sunday.

In regard to their loss against Detroit Pistons, coach Doc Rivers told Los Angeles Times that he gathered his coaching staff to tell them to continue to practice to prepare for the next game.

“I told our coaches two days ago we were going to practice today no matter what. We’re not going to do much,” He said and also explained his views of the loss. “Our slippage is off the charts, defensively more than offensively.”

LA Clippers will continue their road game to New Yok at Barclay Center to meet Brooklyn Nets on Tuesday, Nov. 29. While the Warriors will host Atlanta Hakws on Nov. 28.
