During a livestream shown in Nico Nico hosted by Japanese magazine Dengeki PlayStation, Koei Tecmo revealed a new trailer of the upcoming JRPG "Nights of Azure 2," showing the intimate and sensual side of the game.
According to Dualshockers, "Nights of Azure 2" producer Keisuke Kikuchi showcased the new trailer showing off the sensual, romantic side of the protagonist, Arshe, and her allies (or lilies, as the producer would like to call them) Liliana, Ruenhaid, Camilla and Myubell. During the battle moments, we can also see how well they cooperate with one another, interacting with each other in battle, combining their powers to deliver devastating effects.
The new trailer also shows a pleasant surprise for fans as they get to see the former protagonist, Arnice, from the first game once again. Arnice seems to have a gotten more powerful, and appear "darker" and more fallen in appearance possessing one blue and one red eye, and an ominous arm, according to Siliconera.
Producer Kikuchi-san decided to be coy about the relationship of both Arshe and Arnice, but both of them were infused by blood of demons thus getting their powers. So far, that is just about the only connection they have with each other for the time being. It's actually up to the players to find out for themselves what the struggle is between the two.
The producer also mentioned that "Nights of Azure 2" will be primarily female since it's meant to be a bishojo-themed game, with only a few males possessing minor roles.
"Nights of Azure 2" will be having a delayed launch to February 2017 in Japan. The western will still have a release date revealed soon.
