Lady Gaga finally opens up on why she broke up with boyfriend/fiancé Taylor Kinney, who she has been dating for five years before calling their engagement off over the summer.

The break up has something to do with humility, as she said in an interview, that women are not trying to take men's masculinity away and that they only want men to love them as much as women love their man, E! Online reported.

She said she believes women love men with all they have and couldn't really tell if the men love their women the same way, Billboard reported.

She said these statements in an interview with Lee Cowan of CBS Sunday Morning.

The "Million Reasons" singer said she will remain in good terms with Kinney. The 30-year-old star said her songs are usually based on her personal life, especially now with her experience with the "Chicago Fire" star.

"Perfect Illusion" is one of the songs that would best express her feelings with Kinney. The song talks about how their love was perfect, but was just a perfect illusion. Talking about that particular song, she said she loves Taylor so much and that he was her best friend.

During the interview with CBS, she also talked about the disadvantages of fame. She said she knows she is not free anymore once she crosses that property line. She knows that once she goes out to the world, it would mean she somehow belongs to everyone else.

She said it's legal to follow her and stalk her in public places, and she can't call the police on them, or even ask them to leave. She said she pondered on that property line and thought that since she can't be free outside, then she might as well be not free inside.

Besides her love and relationship, she also talked about "Joanne" and how her fans would perceive her style in her fifth studio album. She thinks it is difficult for her fans to change from one album to the next.

She said that simply is the kind of artist she is. She even suggested that her fans must let go of past eras of music.
