Preview

San Antonio's nine-game winning streak was snapped in their most recent game on Tuesday night as they fell to the Orlando Magic, 95-83, at their home court of AT&T Stadium, as per USA Today.

It was an uncharacteristic performance for the Spurs as the team had been sloppy throughout the whole match. Head coach Gregg Popovich downplayed his squad's struggled, though, saying that the Magic simply "played very well" and had "put us on our heels most of the game".

Kawhi Leonard had 21 points, two rebounds, and two steals to lead the Spurs in a losing effort. LaMarcus Aldridge was the only other starter in double figures with 16 points along with six boards and three assists.

Manu Ginobili had 13 points, six rebounds, three assists, and two steals as the best player on the bench while Tony Parker was held to only two points, two boards, and three assists on 0-for-6 shooting from the field.

"The ball is not moving," Ginobili said. "We're forcing the issue too much. We're kind of stuck. So, hopefully we get the ball moving better and sharper."

Meanwhile, the Mavericks earned only their second win this season after beating the New Orleans Pelicans, 91-81, at the American Airlines Center last Sunday, CBS Local Dallas reported.

Harrison Barnes led the Mavs with 23 points, seven rebounds, four assists, and two steals while Wes Matthews had 21 points, three boards, and three assists, shooting 6-for-8 from downtown. Matthews scored 12 of his 21 points in the final period to lift Dallas to the victory.

"I'm never worried about my shot," said Matthews. "I know the time I put into it. I know the confidence that I have, and I know the team has confidence in me."

Despite the win, Dallas remained at the bottom of the Western Conference standings.

Prediction

The Spurs are perfect on the road with a 10-0 record while the Mavs are 2-4 at home so far this season. A bounce back win for San Antonio is predicted.
