In a recent announcement, Dec. 4 will see the return of Majin Vegeta as part of an all new raid quest for "Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2."
The raid quest will have players joining together in order to defeat the boss. The quest comes with rewards including a single Hercule's Badge for all participants. The "Beloved" title will also be given as a participation reward. Aside from these, players that manage to do 2,000 damage will receive an "Awakened" title while players who do 50,000 damage will receive 20 Time Patrol (TP) Medals and a Tight's Hat. TP Medals can be used to purchase unlockable items at the in-game store.
All participants are also eligible to receive 30 TP Medals if they are able to defeat Majin Vegeta at level 99. An additional 30 TP Medals will also be given to the 6 player team who manages to give the final blow. The new raid boss quest is part of promised content updates to the ever growing "Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2". The game itself has already surpassed its predecessor with a possible roster of around 87 characters. Aside from raid bosses, a lot of the challenges in the game allow players to connect and play together with earlier quests featuring cooperative battles against foes such as the Great Ape.
With many storylines from the Dragon Ball universe, it is likely that there will be more quests that will be added to the game soon. Many special or limited quests such as raid bosses look to be a regular feature moving forward. There are also rumors that future updates will include content that is from the latest series "Dragon Ball Super", however it remains to be seen as the show has only been released in Japan.
Both free and paid downloadable content are available in "Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2" with more expected to arrive in 2017. The game was released last October and is available on the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and on Microsoft Windows.
