K-Pop groups BTS and GOT7 landed a spot on Billboard's "End of the Year Charts." The chart are a cumulative measure of a single or album's performance in the United States.
On Dec. 8, Billboard released its "End of the Year Charts," and the seven-member band BTS ranked on four different charts. Their album "WINGS" ranked on Billboard's "World Albums" chart at No. 5, while their EP "The Most Beautiful Moment in Life, Pt. 2" landed on No. 9, Allkpop reported.
The group also landed a spot on Twitter's "Top Tracks," wherein their song "Fire" nabbed the 26th spot, alongside with "Save Me" at No. 36. BTS also came 5th on "World Albums Artists" chart and landed No. 34 for "Social 50 Artists" charts.
GOT7 had also a wonderful year. Their EP "Fly," landed on No. 15 on Billboard's "World Albums" chart, while ranking No. 6 on "World Albums Artists" chart, as per Soompi.
Mumford & Sons with Baaba Maal, "The Very Best & Beatenberg" with their EP "Johannesburg," nabs the number one spot on the chart. While, Ireland's Celtic Thunder landed the top spot on the "World Albums Artists Charts."
Meanwhile, BTS' Suga made it to Tumblr's "2016 Top Album" list. The 23-year old rapper got the number eight spot with his mixtape "Agust D."
Also in the list is the K-Pop group EXO, which ranked at No. 16 with their repackaged album "Lotto." It is the group's third consecutive album which had sold over 1 million copies worldwide.
Tumblr also released their "2016 Top K-Pop" list, and BTS got the number one spot. Followed by the K-Pop groups EXO, GOT7, SEVENTEEN, and SHINee.
Tumblr's list is calculated by their fandometrics which shows the results of Tumblr users favorite entertainers and entertainments. It follows a specific criteria with four specific factors in creating the list.
